Is it just me, or does summer just feel incomplete without a new season of Outer Banks? The Pogues have been through so much, from buried treasure to a whole lotta drama, but we're still hooked. So, what’s the deal with Outer Banks Season 5? Let’s dive in.

The Big Question: Is There Even a Season 5?

The short answer? It’s still up in the air. Netflix hasn't officially renewed Outer Banks for a fifth season yet. But hold on, don't despair! The show's creators have dropped some pretty major hints about the future of the Pogues.

The showrunners, Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke, haven't been shy about their plans for the show's future. They've openly talked about having a potential four-season arc, but also hinted at the possibility of going beyond that. The final episode of Season 4 leaves us with a ton of unanswered questions, so it would be a real bummer if it was the end.

What Could Happen in Season 5

There's also the whole Ward Cameron situation. The guy is a serious pain in the neck, and he’s still out there. Plus, the new characters introduced in Season 4, like Carlos Singh and his crew, have plenty of storylines that could be explored.
