Coffs Junior Cricket: Scores & Highlights - Week 4

The sun was shining, the wickets were falling, and the kids were having a blast! Week 4 of Coffs Junior Cricket was a scorcher, with some incredible performances across all age groups.

Under 12s: A Day of Thrills

The Under 12s division was a real nail-biter this week. The Coffs Harbour Cricket Club took on the Sawtell Scorpions in a thrilling encounter that went right down to the wire. The Scorpions posted a competitive total of 100 runs, with Ethan Smith leading the charge with a magnificent 45 runs. However, the Harbour boys were up for the challenge, and Jack Thompson's brilliant 38 runs saw them home in the final over.

What a finish! The Bonville Bombers also put on a clinic, dismantling the Boambee Bay Bulls with a dominant display of batting and bowling.

Under 14s: Batting Bonanza

The Under 14s were in a scoring mood this week! The Coffs Harbour Cricket Club put on a masterclass against the Sawtell Scorpions, racking up a massive 150 runs. Liam Jones was in irresistible form, smashing 65 runs, while Tom Baker's 40 runs added to the carnage. The Scorpions fought hard but couldn't keep up, and the Harbour boys cruised to victory.

It wasn't all about the runs though. The Boambee Bay Bulls and Bonville Bombers played out a tight contest, with both teams showcasing impressive fielding and bowling skills.

Under 16s: A Close Call

The Under 16s division was a real thriller. The Coffs Harbour Cricket Club and Sawtell Scorpions went head-to-head in a tense battle that could have gone either way. The Harbour boys batted first and put up a solid total, but the Scorpions were on fire in the chase. Oliver Green's 50 runs nearly stole the show, but the Harbour bowlers held their nerve and held the Scorpions just short of the target.

It was a game that had everything: excitement, drama, and some incredible individual performances. The Boambee Bay Bulls also had a great game, taking down the Bonville Bombers in a convincing display of all-round cricket.
