Ever heard of Malbatt? It's the Malaysian Battalion, a force that's been serving peace missions around the world for decades. And right now, 854 Malbatt soldiers are getting ready to deploy to Lebanon.
Training is no joke. These brave men and women are sharpening their skills at the Army Combat Training Centre (KTC) in Kem Sungai Udang, Melaka. They're learning everything from combat tactics and first aid to handling weapons and navigating unfamiliar terrain. They're basically becoming super-soldiers!
What's the Mission?
Malbatt's mission in Lebanon is part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). They're there to keep the peace between Israel and Lebanon. That means patrolling, providing security, and helping to maintain stability in a sensitive region.
